This week see's our first Treble MB for quite a few weeks, and with the MB paying 5 places from the 1st June (Champions League Final Day) our roundtable discussion focused on preparing for the media bonus period, something many have been doing for a while.

I've slowly been topping up on the big boys (minus Kane and Sterling, sadly) and have a reasonable amount of Salah, Neymar, Pogba, Hazard and Sancho and Virgil van Dijk.
Any other obvious ones I'm missing?
Actually, I've got slightly less of Hazard than the others. I should probs get more of him (and I still don't know if I can bring myself to buy CR7).

I think I’d just be topping up Pogba and Neymar.
I dont think either [Pogba and Neymar] will have a drastic change to their MB situation which is my worry with some of the others. How long can VVD media hold? More of an exit point worry than an entry point one though.

I've always had a chunk of the main MB players in my port already, so I've added some Ronaldo for the summer as I'm sure he will threaten to top 5 places regularly.
I'm looking for 3 out 5 winners on a daily basis over the 61 days of Media Madness, which should result in a tidy little sum come the start of the competitive season.

I can only see us [Liverpool] adding 1 or 2 players and not 100% sure they'll be big names that will gain MB traction.

He scares me. I don't think he's a bad player all of a sudden but don't know who'd have him. I can see him fucking off to China.

Sanchez may well do but I would rather hold Ozil, similar risks but I don't think Ozil would actually go.

I flipped Ozil on the announcement day, I can easily see him sodding off to Turkey. Although probably won't go quietly.
Hazard peaked around £5.50. Doubt he'll get that high again though sadly

I did the same but bought back in a few days ago. I think all this leaving gossip is just chat really.
Yeah I don’t think Hazard will hit that again, you’re constantly fighting trader sentiment with him.

I think his MB at Real (whilst obviously less) will be underestimated. Our press have more of an affinity with him after 7 years (at a guess) than Coutinho. Plus, if he does go to next level and scores 30 goals, that will be reported on.
That may just be me being over optimistic though!

Yes I think so. The same conversation was being had on IndexGain last night but with Pogba. These players the media write about all the time aren't just going to disappear. Imagine the MB around European competitions.

People cite Bale as an example but that's a bit unfair. His first season and FI wasn't around. Then he's been crocked since and rarely speaks to the press because he no puede ser molestado (can't be arsed) to learn the language.
The press need something to go on. They need someone to write about about consistently.

For outsiders for MB I do quite like Depay. If he scores against England it's MB galore and we know hes PB friendly so his floor price is quite high.
Callum Wilson is my other left-field punt, which isn't going well so far. I needed him to end the season better to court attention around Nations League and transfers.
My other and final punt...Lacazette. I think he's the most tempting out of options mentioned. He's got added benefit of Europa League final too.
Frosties
Lacazette is a guaranteed starter in any other team. Could be potential for an MB saga depending on how happy he is at Arsenal.

The next few days could be key to working out where the media sentiment may lie for summer. Obviously we all know the big hitters, but as the media take their focus away from the title race, then with this being a slow news week you will potentially see the press relax into a few safe bets to keep ticking over.
The main ones we know, but it’ll be interesting to see today and tomorrow if any of the fringe possibilities start creeping in.
